Frequently Asked Questions

Is Proza free?
Proza is currently in its launch phase. Contact us using the form below to request early access.
What systems does Proza run on?
Proza is a native macOS application. It requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later, featuring Apple’s Liquid Glass design.
Does Proza require an internet connection?
No. Proza works entirely offline. No data is sent to external servers. Your documents stay on your Mac.
What is the maximum file size for imports?
Proza accepts files up to 50 MB. For very large PDF documents, conversion time may vary depending on content complexity.
Is Word formatting preserved during conversion?
Proza converts structural elements (headings, lists, tables, bold, italic) into their Markdown equivalents. Purely visual formatting (fonts, colors) is not preserved because Markdown is a semantic format.
How do I change the font size in the editor?
Go to Proza > Settings > Appearance. You can adjust the editor and preview font sizes independently.
